Our Residents believe in giving back to thier community.  Here are some ways you can lend support to some organizations that do excellent work for people in need.

Vehicle Donation Programs

You can donate your unwanted car or truck and receive a tax deduction.  The National Vehicle Donation Program allows you to select from a list of 30 nationally recognized charities to receive your gift. 

Get the Facts from the Better Business Bureau

The BBB Wise Giving Alliance offers guidance to donors on making informed giving decisions through their charity evaluations, various "tips" publications, and publication of the quarterly Better Business Wise Giving Guide.

Habitat for Humanity

Anyone familiar with the Habitat for Humanity ministry knows that they build more than houses. They build bridges between communities that otherwise would not know one another. They build teamwork among individuals and groups from all walks of life as they gather on build sites and in boardrooms. They build dreams with families who often have nearly given up hope. And they build reality--the reality of a world that is a better place when we all come together.

Cincinnati Public Radio

Shriners Hospital

The Shriners Hospital in Cincinnati is a 30-bed pediatric burn hospital providing comprehensive acute care and reconstructive and rehabilitative care to children who have been burned. Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is committed to excellence in family-centered pediatric patient care, life-enhancing research and professional education.  Support CCHMC.

HART Animal Rescue

The purpose of HART (Homeless Animal Rescue Team) is to rescue homeless animals, saving them from euthanization, abandonment, & abuse.  HART is a 100% volunteer, non profit, 501C3 charity organization with no paid staff of any kind.  Visit their website at www.rescueahart.org to learn how you can help.  You might also want to check out their Facebook Page.

Donations help provide direct assistance to the poor in local communities throughout the United States. Vincentians meet face to face with the poor to assess their needs. Some of the needs addressed by Vincentians include: housing and utility assistance; job training and placement; and access to food, clothing, transportation and medical care.

Sells gently used furniture and home decor. Furniture ranges from sofas, chairs, coffee tables and end tables, kitchen tables and chairs and kids furniture. Our home decor is constantly changing as well which is artwork, lamps, candle holders, vases, statues, and just your everyday decorative pieces. If you have items to consign, they will pay you 50% of the selling price. Items that remain unsold after 70 days can be picked up or donated to charity. Items consigned must be in good condition and from a non-smoking home.

Buys clean, gently used children’s clothing, shoes, accessories, equipment and toys for resale. Customers donating items that the store cannot use may opt to have them donated to the Matthew 25 Ministries or for donation to families living in the community who are in need.
